Caitlin A. Goetz
CLE Chair

A 2011 cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Caitlin joined Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C. in 2012 as an Associate.  She focuses her practice in the areas of litigation and insurance defense and regularly works with various municipalities, school districts and school boards defending cases with regards to civil rights, harassment and discrimination matters; police matters such as excessive force; labor and employment claims; and Article 78 petitions.

In her time at Towne, Ryan & Partners, Caitlin has worked closely with numerous local businesses and organizations in litigation and business matters.   She has appeared and argued before multiple courts, including the Appellate Division, Third Department.

In addition to her role as CLE Chair for the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association, Caitlin stays active in the legal community with her involvement in the New York State, Saratoga County and Albany County Bar Associations.

Additionally, Caitlin has been an active member of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) Junior Committee since 2011. The committee works in tandem with SPAC to plan and execute fundraising activities throughout the year to support the mission of cultivating and promoting the arts throughout the Capital District as well as throughout the state. In Caitlin’s time with the Junior Committee, she has been an active voice in the planning of multiple events including the committee’s two major annual events – the Winter Ball and the Ballet Gala Lawn Party.  She has served as the chair of the decorating committee for the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Winter Ball, and is currently serving as the co-chair for the 2016 event celebrating SPAC’s 50th season. She has a true passion for the arts and finds this outlet to be extremely fitting. To have a venue such as SPAC in the community has been one of her favorite aspects of the Capital Region.
